Construct your boats using your different materials. we made a lollystick raft, a simple boat with a washing up sponge and a paper boat. the paper boat worked well at first, but as it absorbed the water it sank. our tub boat wasn’t stable enough and fell over. i think we needed a shorter sail.. Make our nature boats. there are so many ways you can make nature boats but here’s how we made ours. materials: big leaves; stick; seed pod; glue gun; using a glue gun, glue the stick to the seed pod. punch two holes through the leaf, one at the top and one at the bottom (see image). thread the leaf through the stick to make the sail..
