M/y plan b. plan b was built in 2012 by abu dhabi mar kiel (formerly hdw). her interior is designed by alberto pinto design. her exterior styling is done by german designer focus yacht design.. order of 6 yachts. she was part of a pre-crisis order of six yachts.four yachts were canceled, but plan b - as second yacht- was completed. she has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.. Plan b's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 8 cabins, comprising a master suite, 3 vip staterooms, 1 double cabin and 3 twin cabins. she is also capable of carrying up to 25 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.. Plan b began her life as a work horse, and carries that work horse nature into today. although she s transformed into an elegant lady, she was originally a research vessel for the australian navy. charged with mapping the great barrier reef and the waters of australia s coast, plan b’s hull was originally launched in 1973 as hmas flinders..
